I've always had a hard time understanding why some on the left think that Stein is a better choice. She holds some opinions that mark her as a fringe candidate. She says things to attract the anti-vaxx people, such as the idea that the vaccine approval process is corrupt. She has also some out with the bizarre idea that wi-fi is dangerous, with no evidence st all. I am amazed that a few said they would vote for Stein instead of Hillary.
I much prefer candidates who understand science, such as Bernie or Hillary. We can leave the crazy talk to the Republicans

It really shows a true cult of personality, that if you are smart enough to commandeer a minor political party in this country, you can declare yourself your party's nominee and get a band of clueless political newbies to follow you.

(33,532 posts)...Sanders actually understands all that much science.
I'm pleased he lost to Hillary.
As a scientist, I've been very unimpressed with some of his rhetoric. We have, on the left, lots of rhetoric that is scientifically out to lunch.

(44,143 posts)Stein is a big ole mess of contradictions and does not appear to think anything through. Another example is her running mate. She wants to attract sad Bernie primary supporters, yet her running mate is on record saying horrible things about Bernie and even more horrible things about Bernie supporters. Bernie does not meet his narrow purity test.
I like many things that the Green Party stands for, but leadership like Stein are just off the wall.
I expect a fair number of Green voters will vote Democratic for President

Anybody who could explain, meaning those that actually think she's a better choice, can't tell you why without violating the TOS, so you won't hear their reasons.
All you'll get is an echo chamber of DU hate, because they're the only ones who can respond.
