Promise.. hand held high.. you will never ever wear the Trump style hair cut.. You will not pour a cup of oil on your head and slick back your hair aka 1940's Germany..
It just creeps me out no end..
Promise, swear,...

If I scare or disgust people because of the way I dress or wear my hair, GOOD! It helps keep shallow people and wallet divers away.

(28,795 posts)lots of cat stevens songs, including, well, you know
it's a surprisingly good movie, with an inspiring message, believe it or not
and the person who sings the main song is just amazingly fantastic
I'll pay for it if you don't like it; screw the idiotic reviews...that was what kept me from watching it til now....it's....inspiring! and lots of laughs
I got it free at my library, like all the movies I watch

(66,388 posts)I started going bald at age 24, and I swore to myself early on that I would never wear a combover.
I'm bald on top, and keep the sides and back very short. It's a neat, clean, simple look. No frills, and no combed-over strands...
Peacetrain
(22,877 posts)Comb overs.. you just sit and stare at them waiting for the wind to lift the lid.. you can't help yourself!.
Aristus
(66,388 posts)It wasn't just ugly. I kept wondering to myself while looking at it how much work must have to go into it everyday. It looked like one needed a degree in engineering and a good relationship with the wind-gods to keep it in place.

(9,895 posts)My male pattern balding is acutely centered in the crown of my skull and spreading to the front, where the widow's peak is giving way to a massively thinned front. It will eventually end up in a completely average bald look - given the rate of receding I estimate another 2-3 years top. I'm more George Carlin circa 1990 than anything....although the ponytail doesn't work with my wiry hair...starts to look more Samoan or Afro style when too long, it's not good!

RIP George...I know that you would be gob-smacked by this election like everyone else, but I wish you were here to give us the pleasure of your take!

If I don't shave I look like Shaggy from Scooby Doo. So I'm hitting mid forties and like, where is all this hair coming from? It never used to be there before . So. I'm thinking if I quit trimming my nose and ears....you see where I'm going with this, yeah?
But on top of my head? Never!

(13,081 posts)It's truly a work of art. It's the only redeeming timing about him, and a testament to the work of his hairstylist.
Everything about it speaks of sculpture: the color, the shape, the flow, the function in addition to form. Even better, to paraphrase HP Lovecraft, it bends space and time in ways that the mind can only understand conceptually, logically, but not in actuality. Non-Euclidean geometry.
Maybe Trump is just the yuppie, Republican Andy Warhol, and this is all the greatest piece f performance art ever conducted.

(111,277 posts)Guys, bald looks just fine, well unless you have the untidy beard & ponytail combo that makes it look like the hair slid off the top of your head to the back of your neck and your chin. Wear that male pattern baldness proudly as evidence you don't need to take testosterone pills, you've got enough to evict the hair off the top of your head. Shave the rest and it looks like you planned it that way.
Above all, don't get a rug the color your hair used to be with the curls you wished you had, it always looks like there's an Airedale pelt on your head.
We'd much rather see you just as you are.
(for those missing the humor gene, this is 100% tongue in cheek)
