5. How to embed a YouTube video in a DU post

YouTube videos can be embedded into posts here - video from other source can only be linked.

To embed a video, go to the YouTube page for it. Click on the "Share" button below the video. A new section will open with all kinds of social media links and with a box with a URL in it. Copy that URL and paste it into your DU post.

That's it. The video should appear in your post. Some videos are restricted so they have to be watched on YouTube - those will display a message when people try to play them so they can go to YouTube to watch.
