I'm very happy to have won! All the entries I thought were excellent, as usual, I really enjoy the contests.

I took this in Bodie, California, the ghost town & state park in the eastern Sierra Nevada region. A most fascinating place to visit, I took hundreds of pictures. And yes I chose this one because of the car in front of the home! (If you go there now you'll find it still sitting there, along with a couple hundred other buildings and assorted mining equipment, carriages, etc laying around)

The competition was so lopsided that I twice voted against you, even though yours was by far my favorite!

I voted both times for "Mr. Lucky," because I wanted that pic at least to place. There were other photos in the group that might have won or placed in a less lopsided competition, but your photo blew everyone out of the water.
