need some advice. Last week we got our papitese neutered and microchipped

he is doing great. Running, jumping eating all the normal puppy things.

But...we got his hair trimmed (he was very hairy) and noticed he has a pretty good sized lump were we think the microchip was placed. it feels like a soft gumball

I thought I would call the vet tomorrow

The microchip is injected into the loose skin between their shoulder blades Arazi Aug 2016 #1

Could be a reaction to the chip or any vaccines or meds that he may have been given in that area.

Have never had his hair cut, feel that's the way nature wants it to be.
The long hair cools him off and protects him from the heat.
We feel him all over every night for lumps, ticks, etc. Also, we make his own organic food and don't belive in chips.
I would post his photo if I knew how.
