My plan for the first debate

A few friends and I already have the back room reserved at a local Mexican restaurant. We plan on drinking, eating and watching the debate while supporting people Trump hates.

A few DUers thought this was a great idea so I thought I'd turn it into a post. Maybe others will do the same:reserve a table at a local ethnic restaurant and watch the debate. Talk to the owner and see if they could bring in a tv that night. Get a group, make a page on Facebook as an event, etc. Turn it into a fun night and show support for local business. Maybe you'll meet some new people along the way.

Maddox (i know, I know - it is like picking at a scab, I can't help checking back in on MSNBC) said she believes Trump will refuse to debate. She has been saying this for months.

I have been pinning my hopes on a debate where I think almost everyone will agree will result in Hillary mopping the floor with him. But do you really see someone with his narcissistic personality and think skin is going to submit to a venue where he will be shown up and humiliated so publicly was the question Maddow posed. And I think she may be right. Avoidance is one of the ways he deals with anything that paints him in less than a positive light. He skipped the last Republican debate and his mouth breather supporters cheered him for it.

We need those debates.
