I think that quote could end up being our generation's "You have done enough. Have you no sense of decency sir, at long last? Have you left no sense of decency?"
That seems to be the one quote that has cut down the home grown demagogues, as President Obama put it. All of the people that claim they built this country, that we need to build walls and ban entire continents worth of people because they are too different and too scary. People like Trump and those that support him have lived relatively safe and comfortable lives but they attack those that look different for destroying the United States, based on vague and unsubstantiated claims. So many good people come to the U.S. to escape violence, extreme poverty, and persecution, and these racist assholes spend all of their time and energy kicking them while they are already down.
