I have been sticking it out with her show and even when I'm a little annoyed or frustrated, I take a break, come back and am typically impressed with what she has presented.

But she tried to use Bill Clinton's framing as something the feminists would take issue with but I found it powerfully feminist. It seems he hit some nerve with her and she hung her head down and repeatedly took issue with "the girl".

Oh well. I'll get over my disappointment and continue to watch her but I hope she can get over her disappointment with Bill Clinton's speech that the majority loved.

of the speech being a smack against feminism.

I think it is very keeping in the spirit of feminism that she cared more about helping people in those early days, than simply getting married and being a "Mrs. <insert male's last name here>".

Oh, and his talk about how, even though he was Governor of Arkansas, she still effected and made social policy that affected and helped many people all over the country. She wasn't just a Governor's First Lady to go around hand-waving and ribbon-cutting. She did real things for real people.

That is true feminism to me.

Oh, and I'm a dude.

A lot of people seemed to think she should just host tea parties, and afternoon socials. They didn't like her looks, her job, or her need to work on issues of consequence. And the underlying current of their disapproval was definitely one of anti-feminism.

It took a lot of years; but like always, through hard work and determination, Hillary won them over.

Not only that, BC was trying to reach an audience much wider than YOU.
