Assange dumped them right before the DNC convention in order to cause the most damage possible. The timing is questionable at best.
I've never been a fan of the guy, but I never paid him much attention until now.
Seems to me he and Russia are working hand in hand to influence this election as much as they can. I don't think it'll make much difference in the outcome, but it bugs the shit out of me.

(23,516 posts)I think that if there's anything else the DNC would be embarrassed about or end up apologizing about should it get revealed, they might consider going ahead and being proactive about that without outside intervention.

(23,516 posts)I understand that in business strategy and intelligence matters, secrecy may be desired. At the same time, I prefer not to say anything for which I would feel compelled to apologize should it become revealed.
