(58,670 posts)someone who supports Bernie on issues may have a problem with Hillary, but would be diametrically opposed to what Trump represents.
There's some deep bullshit going on here, and I think some folks are getting played by the Repubs. I smell a ratfuck.

(14,449 posts)ignored the protesters. They say there weren't many. I find that hard to believe. The Cruz supporters a lone would make for a noticeable event.

(20,043 posts)that the media was going to zone in on the protest at the convention while ignoring the ones at the repukes convention.
20. I have a feeling the media will be all over
EVERY single protest. Making it look like the Dems are in disarray. Stirring shit. They won't be ignored like most were in Cleveland.

She's not a Bernie supporter, she's just a hard-left deadender who probably thought the same about Bush and Gore back in 2000.

(660 posts)They believe that Trump cannot get his craziest ideas through Congress.
However, it is certain that if the GOP retains control of the House and Senate, he will succeed in depriving millions of health insurance. He will be able to kill Obamacare. Make no mistake about that.
And, he will be able to appoint right wing nuts like Clarence Thomas to the Supreme Court. If the Court is controlled by right wing nuts, they will declare unconstitutional every piece of progressive legislation that we get passed during your lifetimes.
And, Trump will be in charge of our nuclear arsenal. Should you put someone who is constitutionally unable to ever apologize or admit a mistake in charge of the power to destroy all humanity to protect his honor?

Supporting A multimillionaire who supported abolishing minimum wage, deporting all Muslims, rounding up undocumented workers, building a great Wall of America, lowering taxes on the rich, revoking Roe v. Wade, blanket bombing women and children, and believes blacks are naturally lazy is not in any way a a Sansder's supporter.

(3,660 posts)People without the reflection and maturity to climb down from hate when the GE rolls round. There's nothing wrong with thinking, and arguing for, Sanders was the better choice. I did both. But when the fringe loonies started saying she was every foul thing in creation, that drove these idiots into actually believing the hype. Luckily I suspect they are a small group in the general and while magnified in te convention will be taken care of by convention rules and security before the prime time cameras start rolling.

(27,315 posts)They ignore the millions of Sanders supporters who will vote Clinton because they understand the difference.
BTW, how many are these protesters? Because on the photo, they do not seem to be that numerous.

(9,894 posts)Bernie, Trump, Hillary or this country. It's about, "My candidate didn't win so I'm going to have a tantrum." With a liberal helping of, "It's not FAIR" sprinkled on top.

(36,063 posts)It's not really possible to discuss that in depth on this forum, but don't you think that's part of why so many Sanders holdouts aren't moved by the comparisons of Trump to horrors of history?
David__77
(23,423 posts)I think that a pro-Clinton coalition will include people who believe Clinton is less dangerous than Trump. I've had concerns about Democrats I've voted for in the past, and this didn't preclude me from voting and campaigning for them.
I can understand the desire to have greater political discipline at a convention; indeed, the rules could be changed to enforce such if parties desired it.
