Husband Shoots His Wife With Nerf Guns For a Week

Published on Jul 25, 2016
This husband thought it would be hilarious to shoot his wife with various nerf guns every day for a week when she was least expecting it. Like most pranks by husbands, the wife found it far less funny and grew more annoyed with every nerf bullet shot she was hit by. I would not be surprised if he started a nerf gun war in this household with this video. Internet and wives everywhere...prepare for retaliation.

I can tell you beyond a shadow of a doubt that I'd have - at least temporarily - kicked my husband out of the house over such juvenile and annoying behavior. Borders on mental abuse. It would take a comparable level of groveling to make amends. NOT funny, and every woman I've talked to about this has felt the same way. Even hubby thought it was way over the top. Wise man!

Taken the Nerf gun from him and beat him with it.

Yes, I do have anger issues. Most of the time I can control my temper - but shit like this would push me over the edge.

Years ago before we married Mr.csziggy was hassling me and learned to regret it. We were on a trip and everything had gone badly. The car broke down, we got lost and when we arrived where we were supposed to camp it was pouring rain. He was giving me grief and I kicked him in the shin. Since I was wearing my pointy toed boots, it left a mark that he wears to this day.

Mr.csziggy does not hassle me anymore. Yes, we have disagreements but usually they just make it to "spirited discussion" not real arguments and never physical confrontations. He learned that even though he is a foot taller than I am, I was stronger and more inclined to attack. On the other hand, he's taught me more patience and control.

like this are passive aggressive. They demonstrate a sense of disregard and sometimes even disgust for the person being pranked. They aren't meant to bring a couple together over shared laughter, but meant to say "I can fuck with you and you can't stop me."

He's being disrespectful to his wife, every day. If they have kids, they are learning a dangerous lesson about marriage and treatment of women.

For about 2 weeks before we got tired of it. If ever I came home and my wife's car was in the driveway, I felt as quite though Cato was going to jump out at me at any moment.

It would be a simple matter. Chase him down, break the gun, shove the nerf ammo down his throat, and tell him kindly that, should it happen again, the balls in his throat wouldn't be "nerf."

Probably why I gave up marriage.

90% of the shots are to her rump. She never seen wearing anything ugly, her makeup is always perfect, and she's always doing something classy.

A true troll would do it when she's on the toilet, brushing her teeth, actually vulnerable. Not showing off yoga moves.

I wouldn't do this to my wife (puns are more my speed), but IMO anyone who predicts violence or a divorce as a result of this silliness isn't predicting so much as projecting.

We have a minute-long snippet that's almost certainly not representative of their lives together.

Of course, if they do get divorced, a certain crowd will say "see? I told you so!" And if they don't get divorced, another crowd will say "not yet, but they will." It's a delightfully self-fulfilling projection.

I prefer to see it as good-natured play, similar to the many "guy shoots his dad with nerf gun" or "kid shoots his brother with nerf gun" videos.

Absent further, concrete evidence, any speculation about this relationship's inevitable doom tell us more about the speculator than about the Nerf couple.

After attack 2, the gun would be hidden because a 3rd strike would definitely take me out of character.
