Don't get complacent! Don't go negative!

For reasons that defy logic, tRump got a positive bounce from that open sewer they called a convention.

These polling numbers are way to high for such a narcissistic, megalomaniac, raging potatohead like him. This election is far from over. It has barely started. Concede nothing. No matter what polls say from week to week. What talking heads say. What betting averages say. What an octopus says.

Most importantly while it's good to remind people and give examples of how reckless and damaging tRump is, don't go full doomsday hellscape while encouraging people to vote. That is a tool of the weak. It's rhetoric without substance. It sounds like them.
The world is not falling apart. The US is not some hellscape of illegal immigrants and joblessness and violence. We are better now than 8 years ago. That is not an opinion but fact.

We are the Democratic Party. The Party of ideas. The Party of the people. We care about improving the lives are our fellow citizens. We know we are a stronger nation including everyone. Hillary Clinton and Tim Kaine will work to improve on the nation Obama has guided back away from the edge of a cliff that teapublican recklessness lead us.

We can only win by constant effort in this election and midterm elections and give Clinton and Kaine the congress they need to build on Obama's hard work.

Never allow yourself to think this is won until you see 270 EV added up on that screen on the night of November 8th for President Hillary Clinton.

We need to be well ahead of Trump in order to cushion the inevitable dirty tricks that Trump (and Putin) have planned.

I will not relax until Hillary has a steady, double-digit lead over Trump.

Political fortunes can turn on a dime.
That isn't the only election that matters. Getting them a congress that actually works is critical. Doing this all over again in 2018 is just as important. If we really want to bury the teapublican nut jobs we have to get them out of office and keep them out.

We've got to do this with energy, so don't allow people to suck the joy and fight out of you. Take a break, if you need to, but don't let the inner pessimist take command.
