In texas he is popular. He is not up for reelection until 2018. By then Trump will have lost badly to Hillary. The gop will be in a mess and they will turn to Cruz who will be able to say that he alone stood against Trump. Ted Cruz is an extreme rwinger but he is very far from stupid.

It gets old pointing out their hypocritical asinine stupidity, but many of the dumbasses support Don the Con because he didn't take money from the Super PACs during the primaries. Yet they cheer wildly when it is him putting money in Super PACs. Are these clueless worshipers of his the zombie apocalypse we have all heard about?
