7. The emails show that some people in the DNC were trying to develop strategies to use

if Sanders went rogue and ran third party. Those emails were a reaction to the extreme and slanderous allegations that some Sanders surrogates were making against the Democratic party. Party leadership has a duty to protect the party.

The strategies that were discussed were never used, so there was no "usurpation".
