Its senior editors encouraged readers to "back away" from the Republican presidential nominee. "We feel compelled by our moral responsibility to our readers to make clear that Donald Trump does not represent the interests of evangelicals and would be a dangerous leader for our country."
They note he has never repented sin or asked for forgiveness a "non-negotiable" Christian activity and conclude he is a chameleon-like "misogynist and philanderer" who "cannot possibly" deliver on his promises.

(2,434 posts)this cannot be good news for dTrumpf. They are not claiming he is not "born again" as Hillary has not claimed that either. But she has repented sin and asked for forgiveness. This could be "huge" if they have much of a following.

(17,408 posts)Because all during the convention on various media, delegate after delegate sang Rump's praises as "God's answer for the USA" and "Deep down, he is really a good Christian." I remember those interviews well because I could barely suppress my vomit reflex.
