So, most candidates experience a post-convention bounce in the polls

Would anyone or everyone like to weigh in on what they think Trump's bounce will be? Will he go up five points? Ten? More? Will the bounce last longer or shorter than the half-life of francium?

And will the popular media devote any time at all to an analysis of the poll numbers after the Republican National Convention concludes?

5 points and it won't last past the democratic convention. redstatebluegirl Jul 2016 #1
2-3 but it will be short-lived when Hillary makes her VP announcement. tonyt53 Jul 2016 #2

I would think minimal bounce, if any, and when Hil announces the VP, she'll be off and running.

Trump will be similar. We're too polarized already for there to be that many people out there swayed by this clusterfuck of a convention.

a negative bounce. A lot of people are going to be disgusted by that freak show in Cleveland. If the Democrats can have a positive convention and talk about their plans to move the country forward, they should end up at least 5 points ahead, at least for the time being. Democrats don't need to be overconfident, though. Things can change on a dime these days.

Unless he/they knock it out of the park tonight, it will be anemic...

It seems to be only a big hit with the FOX News Crowd. Ummm, I think he pretty much had them already.
