Republicans have nothing to offer but hate itself

They have spent decades disguising their hate, bigotry, sexism, and greed behind their so-called “policies.” But those policies are built on hatred and they are being stripped bare this week in Cleveland. It's their party platform:

• Give to the rich
• Screw the poor every way possible
• Crush women’s rights, everywhere, always
• Keep all the “THEMS” in “their places”
• Ensure that white, Christian men remain in control

There’s more. But here's what the GOP is basically offering us in Cleveland:

• Hatred of Hillary
• Love of some self-absorbed, sick, dangerous creature called Trump

And that’s it. Nothing else.

They have called Hillary Clinton the most evil creature to ever inhabit the Earth. Every one of their speakers has focused on Hillary with scorn and hatred.

They have rarely referred to Trump, but the few who have, have praised him as a glorious savior of us sad humans (details to come later after he’s prez).

Put another way, all that’s being sold in Cleveland is hate. “Don’t vote for that miserable Clinton bitch with the rapist husband.” Instead, vote for “Making America Great,” with a know-nothing prick who has conned his way through life and is now trying to con all of America into making him king.

What (most of) the GOP has shown us is that they are hollow people with no moral values. They are people who thrive on hatred. This is who and what they are. And it’s frightening.

All true. But they aren't the only ones hating. Hating from our side is ok, apparently. nt ChisolmTrailDem Jul 2016 #1

I was just thinking that. It's all about hatred for others: Hillary, black people, brown people, Muslims, teachers, professionals, you name it some other group is to blame for the alleged horribleness, but to them the horribleness is about these other groups having power.

All their governing has turned to shit.
They're fundamentally too stupid to do any different.
The stupid's why they're Republicans in the first place.

that is dying from algae bloom. And the GOP won't vote for one cent to try to save it.

They seem to be saying: "Fuck it. Let it die."

This planet is running out of drinkable water and breathable air. But the GOP focus is on power for themselves. They're helping to destroy this planet and every living thing on it. And anyone voting for a Republican is abetting in this slow-motion suicide.

I hope there are enough sensible people left in the world to outnumber these idiots in November.

They have the spotlight on them this week, and it's making it seem as though the country has gone mad. But many, many millions of people are either shaking their heads in disgust, or totally ignoring the insanity.

I guess we'll have to wait until the election in November to find out just how insane the country has become.

Too many GOPpers seem hell bent on killing something (I'm looking at you Marcus Luttrell) and too many seem willing to cheer them on.
