How an out-of-work journalist first spotted the Melania Trump speech plagiarism

Donald Trump's presidential campaign doesn't plan to fire anybody or to take disciplinary action over the controversy surrounding Melania Trump's plagiarism of Michelle Obama, CNN learned Tuesday.

Trump's campaign hopes to simply move on without further addressing questions about the speech.

Aides to the presumptive Republican nominee are scrambling to move past the imbroglio after a passage in Melania Trump's speech Monday night, which headlined the Republican National Convention's opening night, closely mirrored a portion of Michelle Obama's address to the Democratic National Convention in 2008.

The resemblance was first noticed by 31-year-old Jarrett Hill, a laid-off journalist sitting in a Starbucks in Los Angeles. Hill tweeted about the resemblance, and his tweet soon went viral.

Within minutes, the topic was being discussed during live coverage of the convention. Hill appeared on KTLA on Tuesday and explained how it all happened.

"She says... '...the only limit to your achievements is the strength of your dreams,' and I say aloud, 'and your willingness to work for them.' And I thought... that's weird," Hill told KTLA. "I remembered Michelle Obama saying that at a convention... and I searched the (2008) speech for 'willingness.' Finally, someone put it on YouTube... and I noticed it's a few more words. A few more words. Whoa, it's a paragraph."

Hill said he thought someone else probably noticed the similarity, but it appears Hill started the conversation with his original tweet... MyFox8.com

Funny to watch. It was his whoa moment. Some words stay in your head and as Malania was speaking out her speech, Jarrett was completing her sentences.

If anyone knows of an open journalist position, this gentleman might be the guy to fill it.

Which makes me believe someone in the inner circle is behind this.
Like maybe one of the Trumplet offspring.

Melania Trump apparently edited the speech herself, but may have had a little "help" from somewhere close to her, so close the rest of the campaign never heard about it.

Stuff happens, but a professional campaign, with real leadership recovers quickly.

If their campaign had simply said "yes, oops, that was a mistake and we apologize" then it would end sooner and smaller.

But Trump's leadership is non-existent and not good enough to be President.
