The Benghazi Hoax Has Its Own Night At The GOP Convention

What did Faux News and Republican Trumpeters expect Secretary of State Hillary Clinton to do to prevent the Benghazi attack on the U.S. Embassy? I do not think John Kerry has ESP either.

The Benghazi Hoax Has Its Own Night At The GOP Convention
According to The New York Times, the convention will emphasize “a few of [Donald Trump’s] favorite hot-button issues,” featuring different themes each night of the convention, including “the 2012 attack on the American diplomatic compound in Benghazi.” From the Times July 13 report...

Conservative media have spent years continually misleading about the attacks and falsely alleging nefariousness on the parts of Hillary Clinton and the Obama administration. Fox News, in particular, relentlessly pushed misinformation surrounding the attacks, running nearly 1,100 segments on the attacks within the first 20 months after the attacks alone. Thanks in part to Fox’s calls for a special investigation into the attacks, House Republicans convened a two-year select committee to investigate that subsequently revealed little new information about the attacks. Donald Trump has also used conservative media myths surrounding the attacks throughout his campaign thus far, and has lamented that “outside of Fox, Benghazi has never resonated.” https://www.mediamatters.org/blog/2016/07/14/benghazi-hoax-has-its-own-night-gop-convention/211560

In other real news:
Fox News 'Intelligence Expert' Lied About Working for the CIA
Despite Fox News' identifying recurring guest Wayne Simmons as a "Former CIA Operative," he was nothing of the sort.

Wayne Simmons, who appeared as a guest on Fox News claiming to be an ex-CIA employee, has been sentenced to 33 months in prison on fraud charges. Additionally, the 62-year-old Simmons was ordered by U.S. District Court Judge Thomas Selby Ellis III to serve three years of supervised release, forfeit two firearms and $175,612 in criminal proceeds, and pay restitution to his victims.

Last year, the Justice Department accused him of falsifying his experience as a former "Outside Paramilitary Special Operation Officer" who served in the CIA between 1973 and 2000. He put his fabricated background to use on Fox News, where he appeared as a recurring guest who regularly criticized the Obama administration's handling of the 2012 attack on the American diplomat compound in Benghazi, Libya. http://www.snopes.com/2016/07/17/fox-news-intelligence-expert-lied-about-working-for-the-cia/

Fox News was sued over this entire, sordid episode but won the civil law suit by proving that they were an entertainment media, instead on a true news source.

Thanks for the comment. Do you think people with a Republican political agenda attempt to hide anti-Trump OPs that expose true fraud?

The doctored picture was supposed to be funny. Hillary never truly made that militaristic fashion statement!

Blaming Hillary Clinton personally for the death of her son.

It was such a ridiculous thing to say - no doubt that crowd would have believed it if she said that Hillary had done the deed herself.

There is a level of hatred for her among the Trump crowd that is scary.

But I just woke up. Thanks for your comment. I cannot find anything, which honestly criticizes Fox News or the very recent court ruling anywhere in the General Discussion Forum. It is odd that this Opening Posts obtained so few recommendations. Recent OPs, of mine, got plenty of readers and recs. They were not as interesting or incidentally humorous as this short section of video.

There have been some really thoughtful posts that generated no interest, and some very silly ones that seem to garner hundreds of responses.

Those extremely "silly" - not funny - Opening Posts continue to recur for days, as they bury more meaningful, well-written, comments, which are detrimental to Trump, in many cases. Why do you think this occurs?

Most of the Opening Posts that people kicked were days old and somewhat silly. It can vanish again for all I care.
