that makes the very same claim. In one volume the books claim that even with any advance that came from Africa, it was the white Africans doing it.

These are reference books, a full set, that people used for course/class work.

Meaning, generations of students were exposed to that brand of ignorance for years and such was taught as fact.

This isn't an excuse for that idiot King, just speaks to how widespread the bigotry and accepted the bigotry, so much so it was a teaching tool that served no other cause than to inculcate students with white supremacy.
