General Discussion
Related: Editorials & Other Articles, Issue Forums, Alliance Forums, Region ForumsIs there something like a BatPhone that goes off every time there is a gun incident where . . .
. . . . the populace might arise and demand an end to the gun culture?
Every time there is, I see this phalanx of disgusting gun humpers out in a heartbeat all spewing the same sorry shit. TV, Newsradio, Internets and inter tubes. Face periscopes and book walls and every damn chat board.

It is as if there is this huge cadre of paid operatives who come out of the groundwater to infect rational thought.
And then there is the chorus that we can't do anything about it. So why bother.
The fact is we CAN do something about it.

(34,183 posts)They are only organized through social media and gun forums for the most part. Some might be paid, but the majority are just speaking up and generally following the lead of the NRA and other RKBA-oriented groups.
The problem with the anti-gun control movement is that the vast majority of polled people who want more gun control are not very committed or fast to act on social media and forums. There is a growing anti-RKBA movement, it appears to me, but they are without a mechanism for affecting much change.
