(19,264 posts)Open carry is legal maybe it shouldn't be but it is. The governor unilaterally making it illegal even temporarily wouldn't pass any legal scrutiny. The legislature would need to revise the ohio statute to make open carry of firearms unlawful. I have to image the Police Union knows this.

The Cleveland Police Union is concerned for their safety and that of the populace, and you tell them to fuck off and deal with it.
Got it.

(24,853 posts)fighting for concealed and unconcealed weapons for "all of us" to live with? And so should be forced to face the consequences of paranoid assholes carrying guns during the gopper convention?
Am I missing something?

(110,159 posts)supporting the people that are passing the laws for concealed and unconcealed weapons?
And ya, if we have to live with it daily, why should they be special and not have to live with it? They promoted, voted for, implemented and use the laws.
Today, we are ALL forced to live with paranoid, frightened, angry, stupid or careless assholes carrying guns.

(24,853 posts)Dead after being ambushed. Yeah, I'd say they're "living with it".
I don't get something though... how does a Law Enforcement Officer "implement" a concealed carry law?
"Hey, cops... fuck you! You're Republicans voting for people who pass concealed weapons laws! Live with it and die with it! Get some!" That might be where you come from, but I can't get to that point even though I think we'd be better off firing them all and hiring new police forces across the nation.
How many people do you know who were murdered in ambushes in the last week? "Live with it daily"?

(110,159 posts)But hey Cherokee... Keep that rant up implying that I am cheering the death of police.
How many people are dead, randomly, daily, with some dumb fuck and his gun?
Ya, I value those lives too. Not to mention all of us held hostage to the possible gun owner now.

You don't selectively regulate assault weapons because its too close to home. All or none.
