WASHINGTON D.C. - The U.S. House has passed Oregon Representative Greg Waldens (R-Hood River) proposal to prohibit the declaration of an Owyhee national monument ...
The people of Malheur County have already spoken on this issue, and theyve come out adamantly opposed to a proposed unilateral national monument declaration on the Owyhee River canyon, said Walden. Now the U.S. House has also voted on my proposal to block a monument in Malheur County. These votes send a strong message to the President that the overwhelming majority of local residents and the Peoples House oppose a monument. Not surprising, from Walden. He sure as hell doesn't listen to me.
He is beat a challenger in his primary this year claiming that he wasn't "conservative" enough. I certainly disagree with his challenger. I also notice that he's responded by shoring up his bat-shit credentials.
