Basically, someone who claims to have "never failed" either ignores failures when they happen, or has always had someone else to blame whenever there was a problem. Either an oblivious fool or a sociopath.

Life is full of failure; failure is a range of subjectively negative results of choice. And choice, despite the implication, is never a clear-cut yes/no-black/white situation. Even a "successful" choice has a component that may be considered a failure - and business majors call those failures "opportunity costs". One failure can be a success, and vice versa.
