I knew the Kochs were bad dudes, but they are much more pervasive than I had originally thought.

They largely own the Republican Party now. I just finished a book called Dark Money: The Hidden History of the Billionaires Behind the Rise of the Radical Right by Jane Mayer. I highly recommend it to all Americans. A DUer recommended it here before, and that's where I heard about it.

My big issue is global warming and climate change as my sig line suggests. I'm in agreement with President Obama in that it is the most perilous issue facing us today and will be also for future generations. But we will not be able to do anything about it until we get big money out of politics. It's either going to be obstruction like we have had during most of Obama's presidency, or outright devolution if the radical right captures the White House as well as both houses of Congress. We are looking at a return to the Gilded Age if that happens.

Trump is sort of throwing a wrench into the works for the Kochs right now, but at his core Trump is one of them. I think he could easily be influenced by people further to the right if he were to win the presidency. I don't think he is going to win, however, and I think Hillary is going to buy us some time. But something absolutely must be done about the influence of moneyed interests in politics in this country. I don't think any progress can be made until that issue is addressed.

have been working to over throw our Democratic Government and replace it with their ideals of a Libertarian Fascist form of government. Their father Fred started this ruses and now it is their turn to finish the job.

While most Americans were entertained by Hollywood's finest,Koch's have been organizing and funding the same people who if given a chance, would put these same Entertainers in Prison.
