(13,776 posts)Did he sound drunk during his speech? I'm not able to listen to a clip right now. Could he have just been being stupid when he was dancing?
Siwsan
(26,289 posts)He was very facially animated. He did that whole 'furrowed brow' thing to excess.

(81,441 posts)They're locked in, here. If he ventures out of the country, there are various - shall we say freelancers - who would attempt a citizens arrest for war crimes. It's already been mentioned. Long ago, he canceled some speaking engagement or appearance in Europe, and an anti-bush activist gave notice that he was going to attempt that very thing.
He probably doesn't have much to do except to paint those lame paintings and drink. He left office, after all, with some really lousy poll numbers. Just the "brothers and shishtersh" utterance in his remarks today told me all I needed to know. Either that, or some really shitty-fitting dentures maybe?

(26,289 posts)Which is what I meant by 'wheedle'. I will always be convinced the only thing that kept Rove from a 3-pete by stealing Ohio, in 2008, was the big, big turn out that he didn't count on. And probably again, in 2012, in Pennsylvania.
