Well, O.K., every little bit helps. I saw more of her HLN show than I did of Keith's, and more often than not she rehashed the same topics and guests that were on The View in the morning. She's not Kathy GRIFFIN or Joan RIVERS in white hot talent and sounds like she's reading from the same links we post here, and by that I mean I'm grateful somebody at all is speaking our talk in the media, but I've never asked for somebody to tell us what we want to hear the way Faux does for wingnuts. So, O.K.

Inner Tube: Joy Behar will anchor a new show on Current TV starting in September
By Gina Salamone AND David Hinckley / NEW YORK DAILY NEWS
Joy Behar is getting her own show again.
Starting in September, shell anchor a series on Current TV, airing Monday through Thursday at 6 p.m., and repeating during prime time. Its being called The Joy Behar Show for now.
Behar previously hosted a news program of the same name on HLN, which was canceled in November. Her new show will focus on the latest headlines, pop culture, political events and social issues.
The premiere date will be announced later this summer, along with the ensemble cast, which will include journalists, analysts and political satirists. Behar also co-hosts the ABC talk show The View.
Though the new show doesnt start till September, she begins work on Current TV next week when she guest-anchors on Viewpoint while show host Eliot Spitzer is on vacation.

(102,277 posts)Current costs extra on many cable services and the only reason why I have any tv coverage whatsoever is because my internet package comes with a minimal package (and the price is the same whether you use the tv cable or not). So, sorry, Al Gore... Can't justify the $$ for Current. I might have when KO was on, but not now.
That said, I'm glad to hear they are taking on Behar. I like her.

(111,261 posts)in their second tier packages. Spitzer and Granholm are both good and the channel seems to be carefully building a stable of people who know what they're talking about. Sometimes the delivery is off but I'd rather hear people who are less slickly prepared who know what they're talking about over the slickest talking heads out there.
