scary. The subways feel like they are about to cave in and you just generally get the impression that everything is falling apart. I'm kind of glad I am moving to Boston in a few weeks. NYC doesn't seem to invest much in infrastructure repair, but you see new development popping up in all the hot new neighborhoods.

i hope someone working there did it just to cover up some exposed hardware or something so they wouldn't get there clothing caught
