for the seat vacated by Gabrielle Giffords. The fire station where I vote is on a dirt road in the boonies. I was the only one there.
Jesse Kelly, Barbers opponent, is a crazed repub, called Social Security a "ponzi scheme", and called for the end of medicare and the minimum wage. Hold a good thought for Barber. Even here where I live (a red area for sure) I think Barber will do well. Tucson will be where the more liberals vote.

(562 posts)there's a little Mexican restaurant called Los Betos (a nightly favorite of mine) that's on Broadway near Craycroft.
I understand that they changed everything into condos. Not a bad place to live, but it sucked when we didn't have DirecTV access.
I lived there when 9/11 happened.

(40,416 posts)My TV died Saturday, so I'll have no distraction. Nothing on PBS this week anyway; both channels are pledging, meaning old rock sung out of tune by octogenarians, or infomercials for medical quackery mind medicine.
DU is my cross to bear. Sigh!
