So how dangerous is Trump?

As a candidate, he's dangerous because he reinforces the hatreds of so many Americans and makes them believe their bigotry is just fine and dandy.

As a president, he could, and probably would be the end of democracy.

You don't need a majority of lunatics to take over a country. All you need is a whole bunch of aggrieved people, (which we have), with an unhinged guy in charge. It's just one short step from there to midnight arrests, barbed wire camps, ... well, you know the rest.

Elie Wiesel died this past week. He spent his whole life battling the Holocaust deniers and testifying to the truth. It's time we kept Elie Wiesel's testimony in mind.
