The dog, BTW, never really had a name on "Petticoat Junction," as I recall. It was always called "Him."

No offense to Mr. Cady, but "PJ" has to be one of the lamest excuses for a sitcom ever. He was actually one of the better actors on that show, as well as on "The Beverly Hillbillies" and "Green Acres."

It's funny that a lot of people have been surprised to know that he just died, assuming that he passed years ago.

As an actor, he first came to national attention as the uncredited dog who played the character of "Dog" in the television sitcom Petticoat Junction for six of the show's seven seasons, from 1964 to 1970 appearing in 163 episodes. He guest-appeared on the television sitcom Green Acres with Eva Gabor in 1965 and also made a guest appearance on the television sitcom The Beverly Hillbillies. He won a Patsy Award in 1967 and he was cover-featured on an issue of TV Guide magazine.

As a small child, back in the 1960s, I thought Mister Drucker was the oldest man in the world

I would have imagined that he passed away many many years ago.

Good for him on a long life!

I can hear his distinctive voice in my head..
