There's new video of the Alton Sterling murder.

Yes, murder:

I have zero doubt, these two cops are both first degree murderers and are both poster-children for receiving the death penalty.

If we are going to have a death penalty, then both cops deserve to receive that penalty for their murder of this man.

I want authorities to be held to higher standards. They should be superheroes, not executioners.

Let's say one can legally conceal and carry a firearm. If the cops mistake you for someone else who committed a crime, and you are a bit confused at first why they are accosting you, then they have the right to taser and bash your head on the cement. If you're even a little more confused and possibly dazed after this treatment, they are justified in mistaking your injured flailing as an attempt to pull and use the weapon, and filling your body with bullets.

I vote that if two cops can't control a suspected perp who is facedown on the ground with his hands behind his back and decide to fill him full of lead instead of just kicking an alleged firearm out of the way and cuffing the suspect, they aren't fit to wear badges.

Some of my ex-students are sharing this. Middle school. Warning: It is graphic. You see the wounds. You see Mr. Sterling dying. You also see the officers pull something out of Mr. Sterling's pocket after he has been shot. CBS News is showing this, but they stop halfway.

It's very disturbing.
