I just saw a new Nook commercial...

Nook now has a backlight and in the commercial they showed how you can read at night when your partner wants to sleep.

And the couple was two women!

7. I don't know if the Nook has the

function but the Kindle has text to speech capability. I had conjunctivitis for a few days and couldn't read or really watch television very much so I had my Kindle read to me.

Sorry about your eyesight....that's tough.

5. For that backlight, I hope it has a long-lasting battery...

My brand new 4th Generation iPod Touch is currently on a dim setting because putting the light level anywhere near the level that new Nook was shown at drains the battery fully in about 30 minutes.
