Thanks for finding this one, L. Coyote!

I witnessed a number of similar (if more subdued) incidents in Orange County, California in the ten years I lived there.

It was common to see ugly customers/clients unload on Hispanic employees this way or have certain neighbors rant and rave about Hispanics even as their landscapers - most of whom were Mexican or Central American - worked in the background.

And, I might add, worked to perfection - with skill and attention to detail of the kind their customers were utterly incapable of themselves.

Qué será.

Does that mean you are not going to apologize?
or
What are you going to do to make up for your false accusation?

Will we ever learn to accept people who are different, do you think? Get rid of all the phobias and think of ourselves as one whole species? Will we ever be able to rise above petty racism and create a society that 'judges people not by the color of their skin but by the content of their character?'

Oh, I forgot. Unless we all mistrust and hate one another there won't be a forever war and the MIC's profits will go down...

Well. There you go!

The next generation has a lot of these problems already cured. They grew up after the sixties in a more cosmopolitan culture.

Mrs. Kirby probably blinked to full wakefulness and fixed her husband with a steely eye and said, "What did you do?"

I'm very familiar with that one.

A Trump-supporter, an immigrant and a CEO enter a bar. The waiter brings a tray with a dozen cookies and sets it on the table.

The CEO quickly reaches out and grabs 11 of the cookies then leans over to the Trump-supporter and whispers, "Watch out for the immigrant. You know what they are like. He will steal your cookie."
