Chris Christie is not going to be Trump's running mate.

After yesterday's version of The Night of Long Knives, it's now apparent that both Ivanka Trump and her husband, Jared Kushner, are more influential with Donald Trump than anyone else.

And Chris Christie was the federal prosecutor who avidly put the father of Jared Kushner behind bars for corruption for a couple of years.

Anyone think this annoying fact will be forgotten by Kushner and/or Ivanka?

1. Maybe that explains Trump's eagerness to humiliate Christie

Christie is washed up after this episode.

I still hope he is indicted for Bridgegate. What a pathetic turd of a human being, in his own way as much of a narcissistic insecure bully as Trump, but thus easily dominated by the bigger bully.

New Jersey wishes it could vote him out tomorrow. I think his in-state popularity is in GWB territory (low 20s).

Since Christie stepped out of the race and threw his support to trump. Five minutes after his endorsement trump told him to "get in that helicopter and go home"....Christie is a fat oaf and trump is an ass...
