Trump campaign "facing an emergency goal of $100,000"

http://edition.cnn.com/2016/06/18/politics/donald-trump-emergency-fundraising/index.html

Washington (CNN)The Donald Trump campaign on Saturday released its first "emergency" fund-raising email, in response to an ad blitz from the Hillary Clinton campaign.

"Right now we're facing an emergency goal of $100,000 to help get our ads on the air. We need your contribution by 11:59 P.M. Tonight," the email from Team Trump said.

The email promises to release ads attacking Clinton on her role in Benghazi, the integrity of her donors and reported FBI probing of her private email server while secretary of state.

The urgent fundraising email is routine for most presidential campaigns. But it's particularly notable since Trump insisted repeatedly during the GOP primary season that he was self-funding his campaign, only to start asking for donations later on.

1. He is so far behind on fundraising and ads that it won't matter

This is an aspect of his campaign that he should have been working on for at least the last year and a half. Most campaigns begin to rev up these operations about 2 years before the election. Trump kind of thinking about starting 4 months before is like trying to start saving for your retirement at 64 years old. Way too little way way too late.

Maybe he is not aware of the definition of self-funding ???

Maybe he should liquidate some of his assets ???

12. Yes the question always has been "how much in liquid assets do you have"?

Of course the question HOW is the big question no one has asked him.

Whatever he's really worth he can't just sell off a golf course, building or any other property. That takes time. A real self funded campaign would have been making those plans. He took the escalator down 1 year and 2 days ago.

3. Where's he going to run those ads, though? New York? California? Other "battleground" sites. . .

He the Donald is going to release ads blasting Hillary on Benghazi? This is the same man who said Hillary would do a tremendous job defending her record as SOS. I have a sick feeling his whole campaign was a setup to help destroy whatever is left of the republican party, Donald Trump is way too over the top for me to believe this is not an act.

5. Could the Republicans be starving him for funds to force him to withdraw? He has a deal with the RNC

Donald Trump and Republican Party Reach Fund-Raising Agreement

The article says he is leaning on the RNC for campaign funding infrastructure.

9. I lived in a small Nevada desert town. They had a TV station no one watched.

Dish TV, and to a limited extent, DirecTV, did the heavy lifting for TV viewers there, and neither carried this station. The only way to get it was with an outside antenna. That said, I worked there briefly selling ad space for them. The amount they charged for a 30 second spot for local businesses was obscene.

So yeah, Trump's $100K will get him nowhere in a major market while people are still awake.

$100k over how many battleground states? When?

Hillary is dropping $17M or so from what I've heard.

And always saying he's such a winner.

Bible thumpers don't like him. Big business likes him? I doubt it.

He has only empty, ridiculous schemes.
