1. I think Michelle's outfit was tasteful and fine.

What is odd about this candidate is that the Dem she is running against is having legal troubles and another Dem is running as an Independent. So the vote would be split and this woman could have possibly done well. She is also for gay marriage, so she is not uber conservative. That is why I don't get dissing Michelle.

Or at least describe it. Not everybody on DU has a broadband connection. Yes, there are places in the US with no Internet, no Cable-TV, no city water or sewers, etc.

It would be very helpful to us BW limited folks if OPs supplied enough info for us to tell whether it's worth the effort to click through.

13. I think Michelle Obama always dresses appropriately for the occasion.

She certainly represents the First Lady title better than Laura Bush did! (And that goes way beyond appearance.)

The caption on the photo said she was wearing jeans, which certainly isn't a mini-skirt. Considering the event, I think it would have been too much if she'd shown up in a business suit or dress.
