Hard to believe, but check out some of the headlines from the right-wing "news" sites:
Donald Trump Is Correct To Hit La Raza Judge For Latino Identity Politics
Trump U judge's group tied to National Council of LaRaza
Judge Presiding Over Trump University Case Is Member Of La Raza Lawyers Group
Former attorney general: Trump right to question judges fairness
Alberto R. Gonzales: Trump has a right to ask if Judge Gonzalo Curiel is fair
And from Pat Buchanan:
First, Trump has a perfect right to be angry about the judges rulings and to question his motives. Second, there are grounds for believing Trump is right.
I won't link to the unsavory sites, but I just thought folks should know that the Trump spin machine is working to justify him even under these circumstances.

(6,115 posts)Several of Cooper's panel (3-4) Monday night were arguing that Trump was right about the judge. Anderson seemed genuinely shocked and strongly challenged the panel.

(58,724 posts)I honestly did not think Trump would have so many surrogates going to bat for him on this one.
They are comparing the judge belonging to a Latino group to his being a member of the KKK.

(58,785 posts)Lindsey Graham calling for his colleagues to join him in "un-endorsing" Trump:
None of Trump's earlier behaviors kept Graham from endorsing Trump for POTUS, but this same old/same old is somehow too much and he's bailing? Whatever.
Maybe what's happening is the MSM have taken all the profits they dare from Trump and are now themselves in the process of "bailing" from their creation? THAT would be a yoooge watershed moment, if it's happening.

(58,785 posts)tthough, but I haven't been watching much and don't really know. When we arrived back in Georgia, where we have TV and cable (eager for some long hours of political babble), it seemed like Trump was on all day and I ended up leaving it off.
Over the past few days I've watched a bit more, not enough, and seen some aggressive pushbacks against him from the press. Fewer of their dishonest claims of what an incredible "genius" he has for manipulating them. Makes me wonder. They created "Candidate Trump," and survival would be tough if they turned on their creation.
