I'm looking at a box of crackers...

My sister left them here at my Mom's house.

The brand name is "Mary's Gone Crackers," and they are (according to the package...)

Organic
Gluten Free
Non-GMO
Whole Grain
Vegan

And they taste like shit.

man, they are so hard you just about bust a jaw. I need to get them used up though, so I guess I better run them through the food processor and then use them in a quiche or cheesecake crust.

I cannot imagine the scale of disaster that would befall you if you served your guests a cheesecake with a peppercorn-cracker crust.

Burnt birdseeds and thin sheets of mortar with very little flavor are two of the descriptions. One person broke a tooth: When I called the company I was referred to the person "who handles all the broken tooth cases." http://www.amazon.com/Marys-Gone-Crackers-Original-Ounce/dp/B000K8UL4C/ref=cm_cr_arp_d_product_top?ie=UTF8

12% of the reviews are one star while 74% are 5 star. I guess a lot of people like burnt birdseed or the company has a quality control problem and they ship a lot of burned product.
