He has done much to restore faith and gain respect for this country that Bush and Cheney stole from us. We have made progress under his leadership. It is a start.

I hope I am, too. Maybe someone in the wings I'm not aware of yet, but meantime, I'm so grateful to have been here to see this man represent us.

We can be a great and fair friend.

President Obama seems to always have his hand out for friendship.

It's a beautiful thing.

A world leader moved by compassion, comforting a complete stranger. An intensely intimate moment, the best of human nature.
Whatever differences I've had with some of his policies, I have always been proud of our First American Family.
Gonna miss them all.

And I don't know that I've ever seen anyone quite like him before. I know a lot of people really loved John F. Kennedy. I think he was a good but flawed man. I think I actually liked Robert Kennedy better. I don't see many flaws in Obama, even if we aren't quite on the same wave length politically. He's so full of compassion, it just shows in everything he does. And Michelle has been the angel at his side. A great family this country will always be able to hold up in pride.

I am very pleased that he made this trip. Someone should have done it long ago...it took someone with a heart courage.

Thanks for posting this Sheshe

However, you are right. He has courage.

I am proud President Obama represents me. I care deeply for him. I think he would make a wonderful Supreme Court Member, however, I hope he is joyous in whatever he does.

President Obama is a warm, decent human being before anything else. I am so going to miss him, because whoever succeeds him in January doesn't have the same level of compassion.

He is so compassionate and has helped so many in immediate need and also has helped to heal some older wounds all over the world.

I love him and his family and will miss them so much.

He wasn't always the best politician (which can be a supreme compliment) but he was always a good man. History should remember this man kindly and he will be missed. And don't even get me started on his amazing family. Thanks for another great BOG post sheshe.

This brought tears to my eyes.

When Hillary is sworn in on Jan. 20, 2017, I will cry tears of joy, but also tears of sadness to see this wonderful man sign off for the last time.

He has heart and knows the power of the symbolism of the office better than any other president we've had.

Plus the family has been scandal free.
