What did he say? Obama wasn't fired up at all? Please tell me he came out swinging at least a little bit.

Well, one thing. He did mention that he had proposed things in a previous jobs bill that would still help the economy & he urged the Congress to reconsider them. But he was practically mumbling. Certainly didn't take on Congressional obstructionism. He acted like he need a couple more cups of coffee.

his calm demeanor is reassuring to most people. Interestingly.... the markets were down and as soon as he calmly spoke about Europe and gave a positive message, the Dow is moving up nicely. I don't know if it will last through the day, but it's an interesting phenomenon.

Especially in regards to infrastructure, but wasn't that supposed to be what the first stimulus was for? Honest question.

... at a Motel 6 continental breakfast...little stale and nothing new... He should have called congress out for taking a week off next week.

I am currently scared for this economy and the real possibility that RMoney will be elected, unless shit starts to get done.

I know Europe is important, we need to become less reliant on others economy.

We needed to hear a campaign speech this morning.

If it isn't obvious by now that the general public does very poor with facts then Team Obama needs to seriously reconsider their approach. He should have called Congress out strongly for taking another vacation.
