(20,176 posts)Really. He was the vanguard of a insurgent movement, backed by Priebus family money, in the GOP to oust Michael Steele. He'd previously been a vice-chair of the RNC.
A Democratic equivalent would be if someone like Rybak or Gabbard brought a floor motion at the convention to remove the chair from her office, got a second, and then carried the subsequent vote.
