How many knew immediately that Louis C.K. would mop the floor with their asses? My husband and I were laughing about the miss-match.

I grew up with Huntley/Brinkley, fabulous Walter Cronkite, Edward R. Murrow, Dan Rather, and on and on. Since Fox came on the scene in the 90's, in concert with the Dubya Bush selection and I should add the consolidation of all media to a handful of providers and all we have left are vacuous entertainers. Not news people or journalists, entertainers. It sucks.

16. Comedy has to be based on truth or it fails, punditry is made of guesses many of which are bad

guesses and that's called success. No matter how baseless or deceptive a pundit is, that pundit is rewarded with followers. A comic with baseless and untruthful material gets booed off the stage.
