It appears that France dangerously sinks further into authoritarianism. After Hollande's decision to bypass democratic processes in order to implement the new anti-labor measures "by all means", a new round of anti-democratic restrictions to certain groups of protesters - who apparently have nothing to do with terrorism - has started.
Recall that, on the occasion of the COP21 climate change summit, which took place in Paris, less than a month from the November 2015 terror attacks, the French authorities proceeded in unprecedented security measures, including activists who had nothing to do with terrorism!

(2,016 posts)It's not 'activists who had nothing to do with terrorism' which have been targeted by governor decrees, its small group of hyper-radicals who call themselves the 'breakers'.
The 'breakers' are highly organized. Here is how they proceed: when a (usually union or student) demonstration is planned, the 'breakers' hide weapons (iron bars, petrol,..) in caches on its planned itinerary one day ahead (to evade detection on the day itself), then join the demonstration in small groups, face hidden with motorbike helmets. Then they ambush the police by smashing the windows of shops near their weapon caches. When the police arrive, the 'breakers' pelt them with rocks or Molotov cocktails, and, when they manage to isolate one or two police officers, they beat them up with metal bars.
Recently, 9 out of 10 Paris restraining orders on 'breakers' leaders were upturned by a lower court: 'failedevolution' will be delighted, the 'breakers' will not be suffering further 'anti-democratic restrictions to certain groups of protesters'.
