(115,735 posts)who is used to seeing humans on the trail. Still, it seemed surprising that she would not only pounce on and play with the man but let him pick her up. She must be very acclimated to humans; I know house cats who aren't as friendly as that kitty.

(960 posts)There is a lady not too far from me, Wellington, FL, who has a few ocelots. She operates a big cat rescue on her property with cheetahs, pumas, etc. and provides tours. I was there one day when the husband of one of her crew came to pick her up and brought their bobcat along. I played with the bobcat for about 15 minutes. One of the neatest things I've done.
