Rick Wiles: Obama And Satan Will 'Rape Your Children'

Submitted by Brian Tashman on Wednesday, 5/18/2016 11:15 am

“Trunews” host Rick Wiles lit into the Obama administration (or, as he calls it, “the command center of the Obama homosexual revolution”) on Monday over its letter on facility access for transgender students in public schools. Wiles predicted that most parents and school officials will “cave” and “sacrifice their children at the altar of sexual perversion,” while those who protest will be “beaten in the streets with batons” and “hosed down with firehoses.” “I’m going to tell you where I think we’re going: civil war,” he said. “I believe this is the opening shot from Obama for civil war.” He added: “I’m not calling for violence. I’m calling for massive civil disobedience. Shut down the system. My God, what do we have to do? They’re coming after your innocent children! Just when do you get off of your fat rear end and do something? I’m so sick and tired of these cowards in the churches. Lazy, worthless cowards! They’re coming for your children! They’re coming right into your schools to pervert your children!” This led Wiles to go on a birther-tinged rant about how President Obama (and Satan) intend to “rape your children”:

'Donald J. Trump Will Be Ushered Into The White House' By 'The Hand Of The Almighty'

Submitted by Brian Tashman on Wednesday, 5/18/2016 11:00 am

Zack Drew, the co-host of “The Jim Bakker Show,” hosts his own program called “Revelation In The News,” where this week he read a prophecy from 2011 in which God told a man named Mark Taylor about His plans to bring Donald Trump into the White House. Taylor has told far-right radio host Rick Wiles that God will sicken and even kill people who may get in the way of Trump’s presidential bid. Trump seriously considered running for president in the 2012 election cycle, when Taylor claims that God spoke to him about the prophecy. While Drew and his co-hosts didn’t necessarily accept the prophecy, they found it quite compelling. But Taylor’s prophecy, as read by Drew, included a message that wasn’t, well, exactly accurate: “The spirit of God says that in this next election, they will spend billions to keep this president in. It will be like flushing their money down the toilet. Let them waste their money for it comes from and it is being used by evil forces at work, but they will not succeed, for this next election will be a clean sweep for the man I have chosen.” Obviously, Trump did not run for president in 2012, and President Obama was re-elected.

They're Christians, period. Hateful and ignorant ones, but Christians nonetheless. To imply they aren't, via the use of quotation marks, sends the message that true Christians are always good, and bad people must be something else. Non-believers, perhaps? Sure seems to be implied.

I just read from the same source, (Right Wing Watch,) that TV preacher John Hagee is saying "God will hold accountable" those who don't vote for Trump.

Hagee was the TV preacher that gave an endorsement to John McCain in 2008, McCain rejected the endorsement after Hagee was shown on video saying "God sent Hitler" to hunt down the Jews, since they reject his Jesus.

Bashing Christians supports allegations that we are all "Godless Democrats" by pseudo-Christian hate-mongers and you know it! According to the Constitution, Muslims, Christians, Jews, Buddhists and other religions have an equal right to worship peacefully. No one is allowed to discriminate or direct hate-filled remarks against another person because of their beliefs.

It's like reminding some folks that there are Christians who believe and act like the Bible says "Serve one another in love" (which it does). Those Christians aren't of any interest to them, for some reason.

They are the ones speaking for Christianity and preaching hate.

You sure like to snap at atheists pointing out this behavior. Why are you always too chicken to snap at the Christians doing it, in public and loudly please, so we can see how some Christians reject hate instead of just being told they do on the internet? It ain't atheists making these guys rich and famous. It's their fellow Christians. Why don't you attack them if you want Christians to be seen in a positive light?

I can. There are hundreds of millions of the Christians in the US. How many of them are picketing the AFA? Shutting down WBC protests? Dozens if that. Organizing boycotts (78% of the nation would be a great boycott!) of companies that advertise on hate-preacher shows? Hardly any. Refusing to donate to the RCC until they offer up all evidence on pedophilia and its enabling? To the Baptists until they stop GLBT hatred? An infinitesimal ratio. How many are paying for their own TV stations like the Christofascists do, but using that media reach to preach universal love and equality? Zero.

Either there are precious few of those good Christians who care about the things you claim, or they care precious little. Were it otherwise, we'd know. We'd know because Pat Robertson would be poor, The Phelps clan would be anonymous, Rick Warren would be selling cars for a living, we'd have had full equality and unquestioned reproductive choice decades ago.

You are REALLY asking who people with millions of Google hits are? Who have spoken loudly for Christianity (and largely unchallenged by other Christians) for decades splattered across mainstream media in hundreds of articles and stories?

If you don't know then that's fine. Inexplicable, but fine. Answer the question why your version of kinder gentler Christians don't correct and refute whichever hateful Christians have managed to penetrate your awareness. Start with Pat then. If Christians are all lovey-dovey rgalitarians, why is Pat Robertson rich enough to have his own vile bigoted media empire? Non-believers aren't sending him love offerings. And somewhat more vital, why aren't your kumbaya champions setting up a competing voice which trumpets universal love and tolerance and service? Pat et al speak for Christianity as a hateful evil either because the majority agree with them or don't give a shit about correcting their lies. What other option can there be?

In recorded history, every US President, including Democrats, professed Christianity, which gives Christianity a bad name in many cases.
