Story below. Their store and production are 5 minutes away from us. We have been into them for a couple years now. Great stuff. 10% of retail sales goes to local food banks.

Bellevues own Volcanic Peppers heated up the competition at the NYC Hot Sauce Expo, a gathering of thousands of aficionados of spicy sauces and peppers.
Tim Bader, owner of Volcanic Peppers, traveled to New York April 23-24 to compete in the NYC Hot Sauce Expo. Bader placed second in the habanero category for his Volcano Dust 2 Hot Sauce, winning a Screaming Mi Mi award.
Each year Bader has placed second in a different category, with sauces such as the Death by Dougla and Red Reaper hot sauce. More than 200 companies from around the world submitted a hot sauce in a variety of different categories, with the habanero category being especially competitive.
Everybody submits in the habanero category, so I was pretty proud of that, Bader said. In that competitive of an event, Im pretty proud to get anything.
