How sad is it that Trump has to say "I'm not stupid." ?

First of all, David Cameron did not say he was stupid.
David Cameron's called his proposal to ban Muslims from entering the US "divisive, stupid and wrong".

Second, if Trump cannot handle criticism from a long time ally of the U.S., how in the world would he deal with enemies?

I do think Trump is not the sharpest tool in the box though. He knows how to manipulate people, I will give him that.

he challenges the Mayor of London to an IQ test challenge after being called ignorant. You could almost hear the mayor laughing when he declined because Ignorant doesn't mean lack of intelligence.

Listen to "Question Time" in Parliament sometime and you will see what I mean.
British politicians actually speak English, unlike whatever it is that Trump speaks.
