They are more the sit at home and type things into political discussion boards and Facebook. They really are not required to do much for their candidate. I think that the chore of voting is something they do not have to demean themselves with, they have people that do that for them.

Humphrey had no support except from the elites. The commoners were for McCarthy, McGovern and Kennedy. Humphrey did not even have the support of President Johnson. He was chosen by the party elites to be his Vice-President. etc.

I think she pretty much has the nomination sewed up so my focus currently is to help take the Senate back so that is where I am putting my $ for now.

live in real poverty and don't have any money to donate. Thats why Hillary raises money from all sources, so that the poor can be represented too. What an asshole who posted on this thread belittling poor people bc they have money to donate.. Bern's lost to Hillary has real brought the ugly in some of his supporters.

that they are holier than God. In history the popularity a candidate is has been able to be judged my the number of contributions not the amount of the money. A very popular candidate with the voters may not win the election due to votes not being tallied, or people loosing their ability to vote due to computer glitches that caused lifelong D voters to shift to R voters.

But again to call someone an DUer "Asshole" because you do not agree is a little over the top?
