100% juice, No Sugar Added, Cranberry. You'd think that was 100% Cranberry Juice, right?

Wrong, Paleface.

It's 100% juice, not 100% cranberry juice.

Ingredients:
Cranberry juice (Water, Cranberry juice concentrate)
Grape Juice (Water, Grape juice concentrate)
Apple Juice (Water, Apple juice concentrate)
Pear Juice (Water, Pear juice concentrate)
Natural flavors
Pectin
Ascorbic acid.

So, no; no sugar added. Just a bunch of crap that has tons of fructose.

at home.
We squeeze a jug full of orange juice twice a week - it takes 12 minutes to squeeze two dozen oranges.
We blend mangoes, pineapple, papaya, lime, orange or grapefruit juice, etc - sometimes we add a lil honey, sometimes we drink it as is - with crushed ice. It tastes great and it costs way less than the processed shit in the supermarket.

I have long learned not to trust a damned thing in a supermarket.

If you actually have a UTI you don't want to drink it. It makes the pain worse.

It works as a preventative. Drink some every day diluted with water and it helps to prevent UTIs.

It's very bitter, that's why most store brands are juice "cocktails," mixed with grape juice and other stuff to cut them down. My favorite is something called "Antioxidant Force." It mostly pomegranate, plus elderberry, blueberry, raspberry, etc. All the good stuff, not from concentrate, no sugar added. It's strong, like cranberry juice, and expensive. So I mix it about 50/50 with seltzer. It's awesome!

include horseradish and parsley tea. Just steep fresh parsley in hot water as you would a tea bag and drink a lot of it. Also use celery seed, it's a diuretic. Pretty much anything that will keep the water flowing through will clear out the bladder.
Just drinking a lot of water sometimes clears them up.
Get the antibiotics if you need them, though, don't get a kidney infection!

Found that out when the kids were little...if you want juice that is 100% whatever, look for that specific label. "100% juice" almost always has apple, pear or grape as a major componant. Sometimes the "real" juices are mixed in with the "juice drinks", sometime you need to check the organic or health food sections (where they may even be cheaper--that's what I found at my local Kroger, anyway)
